PRESENTATION DAY 2 - Saturday June 17th 2017

It's that time of the year again when we celebrate the success of our YEL teams at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall.

Saturday June 17th is the date when the league will be welcoming the Spring League division winners and runners-up of the various YEL age groups. It is a fantastic venue and a great experience not only for the players, but also the proud parents, guardians and family who can join with them to celebrate their achievements.

Bookings for tickets are already being taken and those wishing to attend should contact their team managers for further details.

Once again, congratulations to everyone who is coming and we look forward to seeing you all on the day.

BOOTS FOR CHARITY

Recycle your old football boots and improve the lives of disabled children

In the next 6 weeks I will come into contact with more than 6000 young footballers and together with a number of key partners will be trying to raise money for a wonderful local charity www.schoolforparents.org by recycling OUTGROWN FOOTBALL BOOTS. The scheme launches on Saturday at the YEL Finals at Hucknall Rolls Royce and the Rams Festival at Pride Park, followed by the Festivals at Forest and Notts County, please bring along OLD BOOTS and put them in the boxes provided. The boots will then be recycled at later events such as YEL Presentation Day, Club Festivals such as Cotgrave and Priory Celtic and with the support of Football centres and summer leagues such as Eastwood, Hucknall Rolls and Nottingham Football centre. With more than 6000 children attending these various events, we could working together, recycle 500 pairs of children boots at £5 & £10, saving parents money and raising £££s for our local Charity. All we ask is you SHARE this post and encourage players to bring along old boots to the various YEL Finals and Festivals taking place at the pro club grounds during May.
