Joining the YEL
From April 1st 2017 Applications will open for new clubs wishing to join the YEL - the largest Under 7 to Under 14 youth football league in the country covering 1250sq miles and with over 10,000 players, 850 teams (2016/17 season) and both Saturday and Sunday leagues to choose from.
The YEL is an FA Charter Standard league and, as such, it is a requirement that member clubs have achieved Charter Standard status. Any newly formed club that has not achieved Charter Standard status yet, can still apply to join the league on the understanding that they agree to show a willingness to achieve Charter Standard status within 12 months of acceptance into the YEL. Clubs who have played in other leagues this season must fill out their Charter Standard status details on the application forms below.
Existing member clubs will vote on to approve/reject all new club applications at the AGM, the date of which will be confirmed in due course.
Applications will be accepted by emailling the completed forms to yel@live.co.uk - All applications must be completed and received by the YEL by 5pm on Wednesday 31st May 2017
