GENERAL

• Open to U9 to U15 East Midlands teams affiliated to Nottinghamshire FA, Derbyshire FA or Leicestershire FA, who are prepared to travel and who are of a high level of ability

• Established teams must be part of a Charter Standard club in order to enter (Brand new clubs must become Charter Standard within one year of joining the league)

• Home and away fixtures for all age groups

• Twice yearly Presentation Days for U9s to U15s

• Premier Division and Division one per age group subject to demand

• Ground breaking YEL Respect Team providing a zero tolerance policy towards poor behaviour surrounding respect issues ensuring a positive experience for all managers, players, referees and spectators

• YEL Discipline team who apply the rules to ensure that standards are maintained for the benefit of all participants

• YEL Referees Team - who endeavour to provide FA qualified referees on all U9 to U15 games

• YEL Office Team - The YEL is one of the very few leagues in the country that is professionally run by paid part-time and full-time staff from the YEL Office at Notts County FC

FORMATS

U9s to U11s

• Friendlies arranged by the league every weekend excluding school holidays using graded divisions

• Two competitive mini leagues - one pre Christmas and another one after Christmas

• Cup competitions for all age groups

U12s to U15s

• Split seasons - Winter and Spring leagues with promotion and relegation

• Cup competition for all age groups
